Power was lost today since 3-4 pm in our area.
WE believe we will be the LAST to get power restored because of our close proximity to NEW YORK CITY (next to GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE).
WE are unsure if pickup of our packages by UPS is completed today since our store was out of power and we cnanot reach any of our workers (THEY HAVE NO POWER and CELLULAR SERVICE is down completely in our area)
We know for a fact when the power went out, our UPS computers did not FINISH the day and we are not sure if the drivers will PICK up the packages without the final day sheet. We will know tomorrow.
MORE will be posted tomorrow.
Right now, this is being posted on a rented dial up and a laptop on a UPS battery backup.
WE "HOPE" power will be restored tomorrow.
STORE is CLOSED
We know our PHONES are DEFINITELY out of commission since we run a PURE digital system with voice mail and digital inbound connects.
MORE WILL BE POSTED shortly.
As of 11pm NO POWER IN NYC MANHATTEN and IN OUR AREA.
We do not have enough power or enough UPS to run all of our computers and phone systems since some of our CPUS are using regular CRT monitors.
If the power is not restored, we'll see what we can do to get packages onto a truck or truck them in to a hub ourselves, we'll contact UPS tomorrow.
