No Dash lights

I installed my wifes cd player in her car yesterday. I didnt connect the Illumination and Dimmer wire to anything because I didnt know where to connect them. Now her dash lights do not work. Am I supposed to hook them up to another wire?????? She has a 93 Bonneville.

You probably blew a fuse. You also may have hooked up your ground to a dimmer rheostat wire.

I recommend a plug in harness, takes the guesswork out
