Hi. I just purchased and installed the GROM-i3-HON1 Honda iPhone adapter + Bluetooth. I reset the radio as per your website and rebooted my iPhone 4(it has the latest software) but I am still having 1 small problem. I must manually connect my phone to bluetooth through the pulldown menus on the phone. It doesn't automatically connect. I've also had twice already where I had to reboot my phone to get it to connect. I've pulled the bluetooth doongle out of the glove box to make sure there is no interference. Any suggestions? Your website states everything is shipped with the latest firmware. Could that be the issue?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

A firmware update may fix the issues. Although we do have new stock, our Grom stock changes every week or so, and Grom ships us the newest units, there may a period when a new firmware may be available. Keep in mind, firmware dated on the Grom site are usually released a week or 2 afterwards. For example, an firmware dated Dec1st, may not be released until the 15th of the month.

Instructions for updating firmware can be found at http://www.autotoys.info/forum/showthread.php/6677-Firmware-updates.-GROM-DICE-PAC-ISIMPLE-and-others

Ok. Thanks for the the reply. I hope it works, although, I do feel a little put out that I have to go spend more money on a micro-sd card and holder to get the unit to work the way it should have in the first place.

Thanks again
Tom

Hi Friends,
I upgraded the firmware but the Bluetooth still has to be manually connected. Any other suggestions? Is there a way to completely reboot the Bluetooth so I can start with a fresh connection? Everything else seems to be working as it should except sometimes the iphone gets a message and won't charge b ut thats not critical.

Thanks again for the help.
Tom
