Default AUX Input Adapter for 2002 Audi A4

What aux input adapter do I need for a 2002 Audi A4 with symphony II (in dash 6cd changer) HU? Should I get the
AUDI AUX ADAPTER (TYPE 4) 2001+ (THICKER WIRES) #3559
    or
AUDI AUX ADAPTER (TYPE II) 2002 ONLY [SYMPHONY COMPATIBLE] #45

I also need a 3.5mm to RCA connector correct?

Also when the adapter is installed do I lose the functionality of the in dash 6 cd changer even when the MP3 player is not connected?

    Thanks

When you switch to the aux unit, you cannot listen to the internal changer if you that is your question. You will press it once for internal changer, twice for the aux mode.

You will need a 3.5 adapter (search under 3.5) if your source unit does not have RCA outputs (our converters uses RCA inputs)

I recommend TYPE II for your installation
