Default 04 Trailblazer Remote Start ADD-ON

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS with only Keyless Entry (OEM). No alarm, no remote start. I would like to add Remote Start capabilities to my car using the existing Remotes, all they have is Lock/Unlock, Panic. Is this possible with a Remote Start Add-On unit, or would I need seperate remotes?

    Hello,

Yes,it is possible, but adding a remote start to the factory remotes = more time (you may have to go into the doors to get to the motors to get a 'trigger' -- and run wires into the door), you also have to do some special things to get it to interface (ie: relays, etc). Much simplier to get an add on keyless entry/remote start -- stand alone units will also give you FAR FAR greater range than your factory remote. There may be times when your factory remote may not be able to reach your vehicle when you want to start it.

Explore your options, decide what is best for you and then see our car alarm department.

The product below will BYPASS the GM VATs immobilizer system along with a few other features if you plan to install a REMOTE START
