if you have any questions on what to get, post. We are car alarm specialist (see our tech section and our articles). Some cars require immobilizer bypasses and some cars have data interfaces which makes things a lot easier. Some cars require doorlock kits, we can tell you what you will need. Just ask!

    Default Car Alarm/Remote Starter Concerns

    Dear AutoToys Guys,

After careful review of your website I am really concidering perchasing a WARLOCK alarm/remote start system from your website, but before I do I would like to make sure it is compatable with my car, I have a 98' LEXUS GS400, my questions are the following:

    1. Do you guys install the alarm yourselves?, is there like an authorized installer avalable or do I have to do it myself?
    2. If so, have you ever installed an alarm/starter system in my type of car?
    3. How do you get around the engine imobilizer system for my type of car?
    4. Will I lose any type of function if I install that type of alarm/starter system in my car?

If you guys can provide legitimate answers to my questions I will be more than happy to perchase items from your website now and in the future, you guys are definately cheaper than the compotition, and I would love to do buisness with you, I just have to make sure that im in the 'green' before I perchase that alarm combo, as you can allready figure out I dont wanna get stuck 'up the creek with no paddle'...

thanks for your time, I appreciate any info you can provide.
    scencerely,
    eskae

    1. If you are handy enough, you can do it yourself with our help. If you are not, we recommend a professional installer.
    2. Funny you should mention it, we used to own a GS400 when it first came out in 1998, NO ONE had any tech info on the car, we did the install (alarm) blind. Here is a link to the install http://www.autotoys.com/New_Tech/DIY..._gs_400_98.htm
    3. You can use an immobilizer bypass, here is one

    4. No. It works as a separate entity.
