Hi there folks, I was wondering what would be the best way to hard wire a Beltronics RX 65 radar detector to my car. Which wire would be the best one to tap into without causing any problems further down the road. Also from the radar detector how would I tell which one is positive and negative? Thanks guys.

Its a 2001 Honda S2000 and the cigarette plug only works when the car is in the on position of the ignition. Thanks.

to tap the wires, the center terminal is probably the positive lead with the outside terminal being ground, I would TEST the wires first to confirm this.
