2006 for autotoys.com, thank you from all of us here

2006 was a special year for us.

I am not sure how many of you know, but LAST year this time, we was COMPLETELY offline. We had a major fire, we lost all of our stock inventory, we lost all of our computers, our files, etc- EVERYTHING - and we was devasted.

We went offline around 8/2005 and stayed offline till sometime in January 2006. During these 4 months, we received hundreds of emails wishing us well. We kept our emails working, actually sent our customers to our "competitors" and their websites. We sent people looking for hard to find parts to our manufacturers, all the while staying offline.

We actually dropped off the face of the earth with the search engines since we completely shut down our database. We had a grand total of about 3 pages listed.

It was a very difficult holiday for us last year as we welcomed the new year. We wasnt sure what direction we was going to take with the company, but after many emails from our customers, we decided to give it another shot in first quarter 2006. Starting up again after being offline for 5 months.

Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought last Christmas that we would be back here serving everyone full time again here in 2006. We have a new outlook on life now, everytime we complete an order, it makes us rethink what we've been through and what is really important (friends, values and family).

So the truth is, we really would NOT BE HERE in 2006 if it wasnt because of you the customer. The emails we received during our worst time last year meant a lot and we are very grateful and thankful for them.

This will mark our 13th year and we would like to wish everyone a happy safe holiday and new year.
