2000 Honda Civic Door Trigger

Installed alarm and tapped in on the door trigger wire lt. green/red in the driver side kick panel. My problem is it only gets triggered when I open the driver side door. Alarm will not go off opening the passenger side door. Is this the way it is supposed to work?

I think you got the wrong green red wire, in 95+ civics, there were more than one wire, one was for the drivers door, others for ??? and one for all doors. Recheck your wires.

Is it that there is several green red wires. Or may I have gotten a different color.
