SCOSCHE IUH2 Vent Mount

I am trying to find a simple, but secure way to mount my 5g iPod in a 1999 Civic. There are no photos of the back side of the clip (part #9012) to see how it connects at either AutoToys or Scosche web sites. Also, the photo of the IUH2 mount fr sale here does not match the one at Scosche. It is simply the same photo as that for SOUNDKASE CAR VENT MOUNT ACCESSORY HOLDER (part #9537). Can you give me a little more info on both issues?

The only other way I see to go (short of fabbing something myself) is the Belkin cup holder bracket. However, i'd like to be able to see the iPod a little better that having it next to my knee. Any thoughts?

I recommend the bracketron vent holder instead.

We have some close up shots of it from the top and also the front.

It mounts via the vertical slits on your vent or can be bolted to your dash board.
