projector headlights

anyone out there ever installed aftermarket projector headlights? i put them in my 2000 dodge ram and the bright light indicator stays on all the time. when i do switch to "brights" the lights seem to dim and are basically worthless. the truck has three wires at the plug and they all show 12v when the lights are off. the headlights have a red wire to the high beam. a black wire to each of the lights and a blue wire to the projector lamp.is there any way to get these to work right?

I am guessing you have a plug and play kit.

Something is wrong, 9004 plugs look like 9007 but are reversed in one pin, I think this is the case and they may have sent you the wrong plugs. You will need to pin out the headlight wires, which shows 12 volts in low beam, which in high beam and then connect them manually to your new headlights.
