Default HONDA / ACURA IPOD ADAPTER with TEXT (TEXT EVEN IF YOU KEEP YOUR XM RADIO)-10496

I just ordered this adapter (can be found here: http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=10496) however it didn't come with ANY documentation, there are 8 dip switches on it, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to set them. Has anyone else ordered/installed this adapter?

    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Default Documentation?!?

Is there any other documentation for this device? I pulled apart my dash and installed it, but couldn't get it to play. The iPod showed a "check mark" and "Ok to Disconnect" message, but I couldn't do anything on the ipod, and when I pushed the Aux button on the radio it only switched between the 2 XM settings. Before I ordered this I was told it didn't "lock out" the ipod, but it certainly seemed to...

Same problem on Acura TL, no text. Can hear if I push am/fm and then xm. Then I can play through Ipod, no control through radio. No help from autotoys.

We are working on an owners manual.

I just purchased this product as well. Why would AutoToys sell a product without any form of an owner's manual included. You're asking for frustrated customers. I was told that this device was controlled like the DICE products. I can't get this product to work properly. Steering wheel controls are NOT supported and I was told it was. Please help...

AutoToys was very quick to help me and resolve this issue. They're exchanging me this adapter with both the PXAMG and the Dice in order to let me choose which one of the 2 is best for my needs. I will then be returning the one not wanted along with this adapter. Thank you for helping me get what I need. Very impressive customer service.

We no longer offer an exchange service. The IPOD TO TEXT converter is working as described. Please make sure you set the dip switches to the correct position and follow the instructions for use. If the product is defective within the first 30 days of purchase, it wil be exchanged with the SAME unit within the time frame.
