Default 2003 Ford Explorer IPod Interface installation

    Hello
I have already purchased the PA11-FORD1 IPod interface and cannot figure out for the life of me how to remove the faceplate over the radio to install the interface. Anyone else figured this out?

    thanks

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.

    Unclip the
radio trim bezel (with vents and climate controls) and remove the bezel.

Remove (2) 9/32" hex-head screws securing the factory head unit to the sub-dash and disconnect the wiring

What I can't figure out is how to unclip the radio bezel. I found a site online that said it just pulls off, but I have pulled (very hard) and nothing happens.

Try a butter knife with some cloth around it and GENTLY get under to get some leverage
