Unhappy hooking up factor radio in garage

I have power to head unit, CD works but I get no sound. either thru a amp or direct to a speaker. This is a ford double din radio. I have the connector for the back of the radio. any one what I am not hooking up? of should I get a store bought radio?

Because factory radios sometimes require other pieces (amps, etc) and sometimes they are data controlled, we STRONGLY advise people from buying used radios from auction sites or junk yards. In the long run, to make radios work in a car is a LOT of work, requires harnesses and other adapters EVEN IF YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK.

It is a LOT simplier and probably cheaper to buy an AFTERMARKET radio with a dash kit.
