Double din in 96 Blazer

I been wanting to put a DD size head unit in my 96 Blazer. The stock radio is 1.5 din size and their is also a 1/2 din size storage compartment under the stock radio. I found a pic on the site so I know it can be done. Just need to find out what parts and what mods need to be done.

I was thinking about using the Pioneer FH-P8000BT head unit or maybe even a cd and EQ like in the pic, not sure yet....

Does anyone have any info on how to do this?
