The kit is designed for the factory radio, thats why it is a vehicle specific harness to the factory radio.
If your installer is crafty enough, he can identify all the speaker connections and power and then individually wire the connections.

Previously I purchased the harness for my 2003 honda accord
shown here : http://www.autotoys.info/forum/showthread.php?t=5924
I didnt think about it and neither did the installer until he gutted everything in my car and realized the harness did not fit....
Well when i ordered it i was just thinking car specific harness, but forgot to mention i have a kenwood stereo![]()
So the harness doesnt fit obviously cause the harness is for the factory stereo and since i have an after market kenwood stereo it wont fit,...
Now im stuck wondering what the hell do i do????.....
is their a harness for the kenwood?

Im assuming that is without using the kit since i was trying to use the car speakers rather then the speaker provided.
So if i use the speaker provided do i need the two pieces i purchased?
You can still use the harness and your new Kenwood radio, you just need to identify the speaker wires and wire accordingly. (this is assuming you are using the speaker lead outs on the radio and not rca to aftermarket 4 channel amp)
