    Default 2005 silverado remote start

i have remote start wired up i also have the datalink bypass my alarm does not have a data port i need to use standard wiring from the bypass to remote start on datalink i take orange=data to pin 2 on the obdii
my ? is the pink wire from the datalink says ignition input what type of input from ignition. Also on standard wire hookup the red 12 volt to remote start box. does that mean that remote box gives 12volt when remote is activated.
the black from datalink to remote box. does that mean remote box gives me a ground or chassis ground. And blue/white at remote box is ground out when running does that mean the remote box grounds out when running
    Any help will be great

    Thank You

*** Hi, this wire goes to an wire for the ignition (when ignition is 12 volts)

Also on standard wire hookup the red 12 volt to remote start box. does that mean that remote box gives 12volt when remote is activated.

**** 12 volt CONSTANT power ** FUSED, INPUT. Not an output

the black from datalink to remote box. does that mean remote box gives me a ground or chassis ground.

** this needs to hook up to a GROUND, not an output

And blue/white at remote box is ground out when running does that mean the remote box grounds out when running

Yes, this wires to the GROUND while running output (-) of your alarm. If you are DEI, it is usually the SMALL blue wire or small blue/white wire.

    Thank You
