I installed a remote start on a 2008 toyota sienna van and wondered why the factory transmitters will not control the locks while running. thank you

The factory doesnt work when the car is running, that why we ALWAYS recommend aftermarket transmitters when installing into Toyotas and Hondas. Aftermarket transmitters also give better range.

Also, make sure your auto headlights are shutting off when it times out on the van. You need to build a special circuit to do this when the headlights are on auto.
