Question 2002 honda Accord 2 door

i have recently installed a remote starter on my accord. using the wire diagram provided by u guys i have tapped into the "blue" wire in the drivers side door to "disarm" the factory alarm but keep the doors locked. now when i activate the remote starter the car starts, the doors stay locked but the factory alarm goes off and the horn keeps honking till i hit the "unlock" button on the factory transmitter. after that the car keeps running and the doors stay locked.

any suggestions on how to treat the problem so the factory alarm does not go off during remote start?

What wire are you using to DISARM?

    from the alarm.

    Is your car an LX?

Have you considered using the unlock wire (orange), passenger fuse panel which will also disarm the alarm?

Use these wires for vehicles with factory alarm only. They are found in the green connector at the top of the passenger side fusebox. Disarm without unlock is BLUE inside driver's door. For Accord LX with no factory alarm, use BLACK/WHITE(lock) and GREEN/RED(unlock) found on a two pin plug at the front of the driver's side fusepanel.

i have an "se" accord with factory alarm. i am using the BLUE wire inside the drivers door to DISARM. i have used the orange wire to disarm and unlock, but the car remains unlocked while remote started. problem still remains.

but i have a bit of a solutions, if i first unlock, then relock, and lastly remote start the alarms does not go off. must be on some kind of a time delay before rearming.

What kind of remote start is it?

What is the orange wire? For

    door alarm UNLOCK

    or is it a

    DISARM wire?

If it is an unlock wire, it will not disarm the factory alarm when you remote start since it is not unlocking the door.

To test the blue wire in the door, arm the factory alarm, keep the doors closed, ground the blue wire, remote start and see if the factory alarm goes off, IF IT DOES NOT, you have the right wire. if it DOES, you have the wrong wire.

i have the ultrastart 1280 xr pro.

the orange wire is for unlock, which also disarms the alarm.

the blue wire in the door is the only blue wire there. and it is the disarm "only" because the car does stay locked after remote start and it allows the car to remote start.

its ok. now the next problem is i want to build a siren circuit into the car. it is designed to a horn only, can u tell me how i can do it.
i believe if i use a relay to power the siren, and use the horn output from the remote starter as the trigger to the relay it should work.
