2005 silverado remote start with bypass

hooked up remote start with data bypass truck starts up and runs when activate remote start but when get in put key in and turn to run position to disable remote start the transmission will not down shift i can stop put in park turn off car restart car with key all is normal only happens when i use the remote start. any help would greatly be helpful
