To all, had my local Hyundai dealer install my media gateway on my 08 Hyundai Limited today. The radio wil recognize and play my selection for approximately 30 seconds before I get a message on th radio display saying to ipod is not connected. Additionally, during that time the ipod will not respond to commands from the radio or its own buttons. My ipod software is up to date. I am going to see if I can try another ipod on it to eliminate the possibility that it is my ipods error. Any thoughts? Thanks

Sorry, it's a Veracruz and I have the HY1 harness. Well, as it turns out the gateway works as advertized with a friends nano so I guess the issue is with my ipod. I have an older classic 10Gb purchased in 2003 I believe that has the click wheel along with the four buttons above the wheel that is the problem. Any thoughts on how to resolve other then the obvious one which is to update to a new ipod?

Do you have the latest software on the ipod?

Yes, I'm running V2.3 which is the latest version. I have also been going back and forth through e-mail with your sales department regarding compatability which according to them if it has the 32 pin connector (which it does) it should work. If I end up buying a new ipod I would be buying the latest generation nano 16GB and had heard that there were charging issues related to that unit and that it would only charge on genuine apple chargers. Have you heard any thing like that? Thanks
The PXAMG and most of the products we sell are 5V usb compatible, which is what the new nano uses. It will charge without problems.
