IHF-1000 install 2008 Chevy 2500HD

I need some help. I purchased the GMCSS-3 (Was shipped the GMCSS-3A) harness from here, I was able to install it just fine. With the IHF-1000 MOTO adapter. The trouble I am having now is once I start the truck and the radio powers on now it shows BLUETOOTH all the time and will not switch back to radio. Also when I shut off my truck, the radio and Bluetooth unit do not power off. I have verified and re-verified all connections. I had to remove the harness for the radio to operate, but now I have no bluetooth. I also verified my DIP switches as 2 and 5 on, for a NO On-Star set-up.

I have the Motorola IHF-1000 unit
a 2008 Chevy 2500 HD Silverado with NO On-Star.
