Question PAC OEM GM1416 Gain settings

OK, so I received my interfacing equipment today. Thanks for the rapid service!

There are 4 gain settings on the unit, one for each channel. How do I properly adjust the settings? There are NO instructions provided.

Also my aftermarket amp. has gain settings. What is the order of operations?

    Thanks in advance, Ron.

I would set the gain settings to 75 percent on the GM1416

Then set the amp gain controls where you want it at the loudest volume, then work backwards.

If it is still not loud enough, turn up the gain controls on your amp and the head unit, then slowly turn up the GM1416 settings until you hear distortion

If possible, DO NOT OVERTURN the pods, and if possible, use a plastic screwdriver.
