Red face old bose 1992 Maxima had 16 wires; new Dual has 12 wires

I found several wiring diagrams for Maxima 1992 but they only account for 11* of 16 wires in the Bose (model PN-9481D) that was factory installed. The Dual (I know it's cheap, the car is very old and may only last a few more years) uses 12 wires. How to proceed?

*if I add the Ground (Black- surely?), { Dimmer}, Accessory (Red- likely?) another 3 wires are supported though the Dual doesn't support { } nor do I know its color code; so still 3 wires of unknown color and function so I'm unsure where to wire them in.
