I have a question about the wiring of this radio to my car. I own a honda and as far as the wiring goes, it's a little bit different. What i'm trying to figure out here is how to match the existing wires to the ones for the DEH-1200MP radio.
The wires i'm concerned about on the pionner radio are:
-yellow ( connect to constant 12 V supply terminal )
-red (connect to terminal controlled by ignition switch) (12v DC) )
-blue/white (connect to system control terminal of the auto-antenna relay control terminal)
If i eliminate the speakers and ground cables of my system, i'm left with:
-Lights-on signal (red/black)
-constant power (tuning memory) (white/yellow)
-acc(main stereo power supply) (white/red)
-radio switched power (to antenna) (yellow/white)
I'm not sure what i'm supposed to match up with the ones above.
Thanks in advance

but if i just want to cut my wires and attach the new harness directly to the main wires that go through the car, how would i match the wires.
Or should i not do that?
Why would you want to cut the factory harness of? What if you want to put the old radio back in. Thats not the right way to do it.
Also, you can make mistakes when wiring to the factory harness. The plug in harness rules out all the guessing because the wire colors MATCH EXACTLY to all aftermarket head units.
