Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip the dash trim bezel. Remove (2) #10 hex- head screws securing the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring.

i took the plate off the front but when i was going to remove the radio i was confused about the toll it needs to take the screws out
