Default Hondas Fit Remote Starter Not Working

I bought your Compustar 6200S. RF-2WG5-SH, and Blade cartridge that plugs into the 6200S that is programmed for the Honda Fit. Wiring went well and I didn't find this difficult to install but the remote starter does nothing. All I can do is unlock and lock the doors with either remote. I did not wire in the anti-grind relay, the accessories 2 relay, connect a hood pin switch or tach sensor. The only wires I connected were the ones on CN1, Wired CN3 up in type 4 configuration per the BLADE-AL(DL)-HA wiring diagram, and connected the brake wire from CN2.
When I try to start the car, the parking lights flash 3 times and then a pause and the the parking lights flash on time. The starter wire is never active as I have probed it with a circuit tester so something seems to be bad on the remote start unit. The manual for the remotes says you can read the error code by how many times the parking lights flash which i my case is 1 and that error is the engine is running! Well the remote starter never engages the starter and appears to never even try to. Any Ideas?

That error means that the tach has not been programmed. First, make sure you got 12 volts on the brake + input wire, then program the tach. The remote start is not defective.
