The products are correct. You can control it or just feed audio.

Yes, it is 3G and newer software (at this time) The pod unit comes with a cable with is about 3-4 feet to plug into the pod, nothing else is needed. It plugs into the back of your radio and from there, a cable runs down to your ipod.

On the aux adapter only, you will need rca cables. Since it plugs into the back of the radio and then only gives you rca input. You will then need rca cables to extend down or a converter. We recommend a 3.5 converter to rca which we sell here
